This workshop is designed for the beginning drawing student (no prior drawing experience necessary) who is looking for a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment to build observation and drafting skills and to feel more confident in his or her artistic abilities. The 10 week course will act as an introduction to contour line, composition, value, color, perspective, proportion, figure drawing, and portraiture. Weekly projects will look to a variety of subject matter for inspiration (including still life, photographs, models, and more) and will also introduce students to a variety of drawing media and working methods.
