Closing Policy

• Snow days will be announced on Channel 40
• If the Northampton Public Schools are closed, Hill Institute is closed for the entire day.
• If the Northampton Public Schools have a one-hour delay, the adult classes start at 9:00am and the kindergarten starts at 9:30am.
• If the Northampton Public Schools have more than a one-hour delay, the adult classes start at 1:00pm and the kindergarten starts after the amount of time specified for the delay.
• Whenever possible, we change the outgoing message on the school answering machine to inform the public about closings, delays and canceled classes due to the weather. Please call the office number (584-1725) to access the recording.
