I was raised in the Northampton and attended the Northampton Schools. In 1980 received a degree in graphic design and currently work full time as a graphic designer. My first introduction to sewing was at Hill Institute around the age of 10 at Saturday morning sewing classes. It was in High School during Home Economics class I found my passion for sewing and have been sewing ever since. I now teach adult home dec sewing classes and hold children and teen workshops on Saturdays at Hill Institute.
